Guest Criteria

We are looking for engaged, experienced leaders who can provide value to our audience. Our ideal guest is someone who:

Is an HR director or manager development expert.
Is a senior leader or business owner of a fast-growing company.
Hosts association leadership events or programs.
Leads or mentors management teams within an organization.
Can share actionable strategies, systems, or frameworks for leadership transformation.

Questions to Consider Before Requesting to Be a Guest

To ensure your episode is impactful, please reflect on the following before submitting your request:

What insights or stories can you share that managers and leaders can apply immediately?
How does your topic align with our theme of transforming managers into leaders?
What 1-2 actions would you like listeners to take after hearing your episode?
What 3-5 questions would you like me to ask during our interview?
What details about your background should I know? (e.g., organization name, role, email, website, social media links)

Preparing for the Recording

To ensure a high-quality recording, here’s what you’ll need to prepare:

Virtual Recordings:

Use a dedicated internet connection (no Wi-Fi) to avoid technology interruptions.
Wear headphones to reduce echo.
Use a plugged-in microphone for the best sound quality. (Earpods are great; avoid built-in computer microphones.)
The interview will last approximately 30 minutes and will be professionally edited.

In-Person Recordings:

Choose a small, quiet room to minimize background noise. I will bring all the recording equipment.

Before the Interview:

Please provide:

A headshot (chest-up photo).
A brief biography (150-200 words).
Links to your website and social media profiles.

Post-Recording Process

We pride ourselves on creating polished, engaging episodes that showcase your expertise. Here's what happens after the interview:

Episodes are pre-recorded weeks in advance to allow for editing and promotion.
We’ll send you an email about a week before your episode airs, including:
- Publishing date
- Episode links
- Graphics for social media promotion

Your episode will be published on all major platforms, including Apple Podcasts and Spotify. We’ll actively promote the episode on social media and encourage you to engage with the posts as much as you're comfortable.
